Appliance Traders Limited controls and operates this Site from its offices within Jamaica. Claims relating to, including the use of, this Site and the materials contained herein are governed by the laws of Jamaica. If you do not agree, please do not use this Site. If you choose to access this Site from another location, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with applicable local laws.

Appliance Traders Limited may revise these terms of use by updating this posting. You agree that in the event any portion of these Site terms of use are found to be unenforceable, the remainder of these Site terms and conditions shall remain in full force and effect. By using this Site you agree to be bound by any such revisions and should therefore periodically visit this page to determine the then current terms of use to which you are bound.

The information contained in this Site including all images, illustrations, designs, photographs, video clips, writings and other materials that appear herein are copyrights, trademarks, trade dress or other intellectual property owned, controlled, or licensed (all of which, collectively, are herein referred to as the "Contents") by ATL or its subsidiaries and affiliates or are the property of their respective owners. The name Appliance Traders Limited and the Appliance Traders Limited (ATL) logo are registered marks of Appliance Traders Limited.
Permission is granted to display, copy, distribute, download, and print in hard copy portions of this Site for the purposes of:
(1) placing an order with Appliance Traders Limited or
(2) using this Site as a shopping resource, provided you do not modify the Site and that you retain all copyright and other proprietary notices contained in the Contents.
Except in connection with shopping or placing an order, none of the Contents may be copied, reproduced, distributed, republished, downloaded, displayed, posted electronically or mechanically, transmitted, recorded, in any manner mirrored, photocopied, or reproduced without the prior written permission of Appliance Traders Limited or the applicable copyright owner.
Please note that the permission granted herein terminates automatically if you breach any of these Site terms or conditions. ABOUT OUR PRICES
The prices advertised on this Site are for Internet orders only. Prices on some items may differ from those charged at Appliance Traders Limited stores. Prices and the availability of items are subject to change without notice.
Any reference to "savings" used on this Site indicates the average savings off the "list price". Your actual savings will vary depending upon the goods purchased and the date of the transaction.
We reserve the right to limit sales, including the right to prohibit sales to re-sellers. We are not responsible for typographical or photographic errors. Prices quoted do not include G.C.T. which will be applicable to some products.
ORDER CONFIRMATION
Our order confirmation to you does not signify our acceptance of your order, nor does it constitute confirmation of our offer to sell. At any time after receipt of your order, we may accept, decline, or place quantity or other limits on your order for any reason. We may impose these limits on a per-person, per-household, per-order, or any other basis. If we reject, limit, or otherwise modify your order, we will attempt to notify you using the email address you provide to us. If we cancel an order or part of an order that we’ve already charged you for, we’ll refund you the full amount of the cancelled portion of the order.
RETURNS POLICY
If you are not fully satisfied with your order, you may cancel or return your purchase within 14 days from the original purchase date for a full refund or exchange. Returned items should be accompanied by the original invoice, unused, and in the original packaging with all applicable accessories and components
We reserve the right to apply a restocking fee of 10% of the value for unused items that were installed for use, and for items in new condition without the original packaging
Consumables, and custom/specially ordered items where a customer has requested specific attributes (e.g. finish, colour, size) or where a manufacturer builds only to order are non-returnable, and non-refundable
If your purchase is damaged during delivery (conducted by ATL), we will give you the option to (a) keep the item and accept a 10% rebate or credit to your account in exchange, or (b) we will exchange it at no cost to you
It is the duty of the buyer or his/her agent to examine all goods immediately upon receipt and claims shall be notified to ATL within 3 business days of the buyer taking possession. If notification is not received by the company within this period, ATL shall be under no liability whatsoever in respect of such claim.
CANCELLATION OF ORDERS
Appliance Traders Limited will issue a full refund to the original payment method utilised on our website within 48 hours of the request to cancel an order. Please note your card issuing institution in authorizing the transaction may have placed a hold on your account for the transaction amount and should be contacted to query the timeframe in which the hold will expire.
REPAIRS & WARRANTY
Items returned due to manufacturer’s defect within 30 days from the date of purchase may be repaired, returned for a full refund or exchanged after assessment by our factory trained service technicians. All refunds issued will attract a nominal re-stocking fee which will be deducted from the original purchase price.
Where an item returned within 30 days from the date of purchase is found to be damaged, altered, misused, or failed as a result of accident, fire, flood, acts of God or use on fluctuating voltages or circuits or voltages for which it was not designed, it may not be returned for refund, exchange or store credit.
Items that fail more than 30 days after the date of purchase and within the manufacturer’s warranty period will be exchanged or repaired in accordance with the product’s warranty terms (See warranty schedule) or issued store credit.
WORKSHOP REPAIRS
Appliance Traders Limited shall be under no liability for loss of or damage to the Customer’s items from any cause not within its control and will not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever occurring after the expiration of 15 days from the posting of a notice to the customer at his last known address signifying completion of the work.
In the event that the Customer’s goods are not withdrawn at the expiration of 30 days after the posting of a notice as foresaid the goods shall be deemed to have been abandoned and Appliance Traders Limited shall be entitled to sell the same by private contract or otherwise and shall thereafter apply the proceeds of such sale towards any amount which may then be owing by the Customer including all expenses incurred by the Customer in affecting such sale. For the purpose of passing a good legal title to such goods by any purchaser thereof, the Customer hereby irrevocably appoints Appliance Traders Limited to be its authorized agent.
Please be advised that should you insist on the return of your unit before the promise date of repairs, the minimum charges will be forfeited; if, however, we are unable to meet our suggested deadline of 2 or 3 weeks from the date of acceptance, the minimum service charge (deposited) will be refunded in full.
Appliance Traders Limited does not guarantee that the goods can be repaired and in the event that the goods cannot be repaired or cannot be made to function properly the customer agrees to pay the Company for all expenses incurred (including parts and labour) in attempting to repair the goods.
Appliance Traders Limited accepts customer’s goods for service and/or repairs on the foregoing conditions only and the Customer hereby accepts these conditions.
Appliance Traders Limited provides customers with 30 days’ warranty on labour only after the completion of a job.
USER COMMENTS, FEEDBACK, AND OTHER INFORMATION SUBMISSIONS PROVIDED BY YOU
You agree that any material, information, and ideas that you transmit to this Site or otherwise provide to Appliance Traders Limited ("Transmissions") shall be and remain Appliance Traders Limited's property.
All Transmissions will be treated as non-confidential and non-proprietary and Appliance Traders Limited shall be under no obligation of any kind with respect to such information and shall be free to reproduce, use, disclose, and distribute the Transmissions to others without limitation. Additionally, Appliance Traders Limited shall be free to use any ideas, concepts, know-how, or techniques contained in such information for any purpose whatsoever including, but not limited to, developing, manufacturing, or marketing products incorporating such information. You further agree that Appliance Traders Limited may use information about your demographics and use of this Site in any manner that does not reveal your identity.
In addition, you agree, and are hereby put on notice, that you are prohibited from posting or transmitting to or from this Site any unlawful, threatening, libellous, defamatory, inflammatory, pornographic, or profane material or any other material that could give rise to any civil or criminal liability under law. You are solely responsible for the content of any comments you make.
